Our group will be a bunch o lads getting out for a wander and a blether some social interaction, with absolutely no pressure to talk if you don’t want to if you just want to come along for the wander that’s cool just fire along the more the merrier.
A WEE BIT ABOUT ME
I am Gary and i created Walking Mends My Mind a couple of years ago Linking up with National Charity Paths For All with the aim to raise mental health awareness get people out walking and enjoy the amazing Mental and Physical Health & Wellbeing benefits that walking and nature has to offer.
As a keen all weather all season walker i recently had to stop doing the thing i loved due to various medical issues, this has led me to popping prescription medication like sweeties and with no real positive outcome.
Anxiety, mood swings, toilet issues, eating issues, fatigue, not being able to function properly these are only some of the side effects that i have endured over the last 18 month whilst trying various meds to make me feel better.
I am now done with feeling like rubbish so as i go into 2025 i have a very different outlook one that has me determined to get myself back on track.
Lets get out for a wander in nature and get motivated together.
